A 6 part editorial. Part 1 - http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/...ay/high-time-marijuana-legalization.html?_r=0
I'm not sure if maxiep will disagree with the basic idea the NY times is saying, legalize in federally and then leave it up to the states. A state issue, not a federal one. If his state wants to keep it illegal, that's their right.
This is actually part 1 - the first link I posted was the introduction to the series. http://www.nytimes.com/2014/07/27/o...me-let-states-decide-on-marijuana.html?op-nav
Isn't that pretty much the situation now? States do what they want and the feds don't interfere? barfo
I thought the federal government was shutting down various dispensaries, regardless of the legality at the state level. Though I've probably lost track of actual action and saber-rattling.
What about punishment for all the politicians and legal system shits who turned the country into a police state over this issue?
Is the Times realizing the socialist agenda is a complete failure and moving on to embrace Libertarianism? I'm hopeful, but also dubious. But they're right on this one issue. Finally got one.
Yes, if only all of us liberal hippies had stopped hating drugs and embraced the drug-loving Reaganites...wait.. This revisionist history still needs smoothing before it gets taught in school as unquestioned fact.
I've caught you a lot more than you've caught me. Think of how free you'd be on this board, if only you just made my account disappear. But you need an anchor. Without my nagging, you'd become a heroin addict.
