We play name that Trade. Who will the Yankees get big or small trade?

I can see Willingham and Danks even though I am not crazy on Danks.

My dream trades involve Utley, Tulo and Hamels and I know none of them will happen but a girl can dream.

...I'd gladly take any or all of the players you mentioned. (Rios, Utley, Tulo and Hamels)

59, just doubt the likelihood of that happening. Hopefully Cashman can pull a rabbit out of a hat.

...yeah, like you said, they're "dream trades".

...I doubt they mess with Lee now that he's pitched poorly since returning...Utley currently have the Yanx on his no trade list maybe he'll wave it...and Rios is a possibility too...realistically, I think the Yanx have a shot a both.

I'd love to see it, right now tho' Brian doesn't seem to be able to pull a Kleenex out of his pocket, let alone a rabbit out of his hat....!

But,........I'd love to see it, tho'.........!

when all else fails, call Roger Rabbit....bugs bunny is dead, Elmer Fudd finally exacted his revenge....!

Definitely no on Danks & Willingham has some pop but he hasn't be able to hit over 220 in 2 years now. I like Rios but his salary may be a sticking point. (Due 13.5 next season). Tulo who wouldn't want him? but I just don't see the Yankees having the proper trade chips to get him. Hamels, Utley & Rios along with Byrd are more realistic.

I honestly do not see Cashman acquiring the talent we'd like to see, (a power hitting corner Outfielder, or any other infielders, or more importantly good solid pitching)... not by the deadline.

I foresee Lester going to the Cardinals.....

I foresee Cashman burying his head up his ass, and making a mistake of a move, to acquire Cliff Lee, (provided Lee makes progress over his current status)...even then I fear obtaining Lee will be a BIG mistake.

I'd like to be proven wrong, but not at the expense of an IF....or a "he may be a good pickup".....anything less than near perfection out of Lee, and I'd not consider taking him, in his current status, or his inflated Salary.....

    Those things I fear....!

I'm afraid by EVERYTHING I've seen that Lee's best years are behind him. WAY BEHIND HIM! so I really don't want to see the Yankees make that move. Instead though Cashman will probably do something really stupid (Stupid no way not Cashman) and get someone like Danks. P L E A S E say it ain't so.
