Got to be Sam Fuld, released from Oakland, goes to Minnesota, improves, now back to Oakland with a chance at the playoffs.

...yup, and the platoon of Fuld and Gomes will come close to replacing the lost offensive production of Cespedes.

Unfortunately,.... it has to be Johnny Gomes.
From last place to team with best record in MLB.
Never liked the guy- a real sh!t-head ...thinks he's some kind of tough guy.

And the most unluckiest has to be Cespedes. From a possible WS appearance to the cellar.

Yep a qualifier but Fuld had actually been released. Gomes has what I would call an abrasive personality. I don't know why the A's took him back but what is done is done.

...don't care for Gomes myself, but from what I've heard, is that he's is very popular in the clubhouse.

I didn't care for the whining temper tantrum throwing Gomes, Cargo, or F-Uggla when they played or came around here in the CA. A+ Minors.....still don't....!

Maybe Cespedes will defect back to Cuba in the off season, and come back...a FA, then don Pinstripes.
Yoenis won't have to take a raft, inner-tube, back off the Island. Cashman will be waiting off the shore of Cuba in the Yankee Yacht.....:devilwink:

Has anyone noticed Cespedes' last one and a half seasons?
    BA .247 OBP .298 SLG.452 OPS.750

    2013 26 HR 80 RBI, 2014 17 HR 67 RBI.

I guess you would have to expect him to improve on those numbers at Fenway.

His arm will be lethal in Fenway....he will be throwing 120 mph strikes over the plate from the Green Monster......thus, the Bosox sign Yoenis up as the #1 - SP for the rest of his contract.....!!! LOL...!
