Great movie, definitely didn't disappoint, and is probably one of my favorite marvel movies.

You don't need any convincing to go see it, just do it!

There is only 1 end credit scene so don't bother waiting after the first.

    Anyone seen it yet?

Probably the first Marvel movie i'm hyped to see since the first Iron Man.

I had no idea what Iron Man was prior to watching the first movie, but I loved it and the sequels.

I'll give this movie a chance, too, based on the recommendations of you two.

It's exactly what I was going I to it expecting it to be. A fun movie experience. I wasn't looking for the shawshank redemption, I just wanted to be entertained.

If you loved the iron man serious you should definitely see this. One big similarity is the inclusion of humor. Before Guardians of the Galaxy, iron man was really the only marvel movie that I feel had a lot of comedy mixed in.

It's fantastic. Funny, but with a lot of heart. Not cynical at all, which after the last few weeks of real life, is a welcome thing!

This is a special, special flick. Total popcorn joy. And colorful! They don't make 'em like this anymore, but I hope this movie makes a billion dollars so they do make 'em like this again!

Word, I was glad to watch a comedy that doesn't rely on over the top language or crude humor to get its laughs. I'm not opposed to swearing, I just find it to be droll and over used.

Tried to see it the other day but arrived late to the theater and ended up watching Lucy instead. HUGE disappointment! I'll try to catch this in the theaters. Thanks for the quick review everyone!

Should have gone with planet of the apes. I hear that is food, although I am waiting for it to come out before I see it myself.

I'm looking forward to seeing it, but the comedy aspect of Marvel movies is my biggest gripe with them. If I want to see a comedy, there are much better choices than superhero movies. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is my favorite of Marvel's so far, because the focus was actually on the story.

I want to watch superhero movies that are "realistic" or at least have a mostly serious tone. Some people think that's silly.. I don't get why but that's fine.

I'm kindof agnostic on the issue, I can enjoy it being done either way. But I think the reason some people might find that "silly," is because superheroes emerged from comics and were fairly pulpy...(generally) not super-serious, more just poppy fun. So that means larger than life, somewhat exaggerated, some silly/funny stuff, colorful. In that tradition, they'd want movies like that rather than dramas starring superheroes.

    That makes sense.

I've always been more of a DC Comics fan, which I'd say is a little more serious overall than Marvel.

What's funny is that my favorite Marvel characters are Spider-man and Deadpool.

Yes! I watched it 5 times probably. Have you come across the leaked script? I only got to read the first few pages but it was awesome. Opened with Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) watching his character in Origins get decapitated. He then flips through the TV guide and sees that Green Lantern is on a different channel. He says "Man, nothing good on" and turns off the TV.

I have not read any of it, but that sounds humorous, although a bit on the nose.

Has anyone else seen guardians yet?
