TBF if the UFC was only interested in veteran MMA fighters the women's division would be about eight deep, if that, and they can't grow a division (a sport, even) by having the women fight on FightPass at 4:30. There are not a lot of places women can get fights. It is a bit ridiculous to have unranked Baszler/marginally ranked Correira as the third fight on a PPV (which I assume is what he's referring to) but that PPV is shit to begin with.

As for the RR comments, maybe Bocek doesn't appreciate that the UFC has almost no star power at the moment and flagging PPV sales. They get criticized for not building stars and then criticized for pushing people like RR. They have to market somebody. If Jon Jones wasn't such a colossal ass he'd be the one. If Anthony Pettis wasn't constantly injured, if Cain Velasquez was fighting, etc., etc.. They're desperate.
