Some 24 hours after the Los Angeles Dodgers placed key left-hander Hyun-Jin Ryu on the 15-day disabled list with strains to his buttock, third baseman Juan Uribe joined him there. Uribe reaggravated a troublesome right hamstring during Friday night's 6-3 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers, and manager Don Mattingly said the team has decided to "play it a little cautiously" with the valuable but injury-prone veteran. "It being the same leg, the last time we felt good after four or five days, he played three or four (games) and then he missed 30 days," Mattingly said. "That's the one thing we worry about."
