I want to say that before anything else because its true. but the disgusting group that posts on your new york yankees sub forum give this place a bad rep. ive read through the posts on this forum here and any debate is handled in a mature way without bigotry. read the opposite below. http://sportstwo.com/threads/269131-OT-Ferguson in that one thread is where u will find people refer to the happenings in ferguson as monkeys, thugs, kool ade drinkers, rapists, drug addicts, blacks just wanting free shit, etc. this is one of several threads they have made that include racism and homophobic comments over the last few months. these are exact words and phrases being used by the bigots u allow to represent your web site. its a shame. bad apples can ruin a real good bunch.
I have been keeping up with the thread in question. I haven't seen anything overly egregious. Similar sentiments are being expressed in the Ferguson thread on the Blazers OT forum (by some). Seems ricky is just trying to cause trouble for the Yankees posters. They don't need his help.

They weren't grouping all blacks... They were calling Brown a thug because of the picture and made a joke (albeit not a funny one) about the Hawaiian punch. I wouldn't call it egregious.
ya it's completely normal behavior. in fact if they were in an urban community im sure they would have no problem saying that aloud.

Ricky, the same stuff happens here, just perhaps a little less often. This is the internet, and in particular, a site where people exercise their free speech and it's permitted as long as the very few forum rules are adhered to. It gets tiresome for sure, and I'd hope you have the ability to stand up for what you believe and call out the egregious posts. But remember, attack the post, not the poster. It's better to know what's out there and fight against it than to close your eyes and pretend it doesn't exist. But remember, some of them are also trolls, just trying to get under your skin. After you respond, be able to let the racist/homophobic crap just roll off your back knowing you spoke your mind. You aren't going to change them, but you might influence others reading the threads.
