Re: Bellator releases lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez We want guys who want to be here -- Coker Makes sense. Sadly I would guess that 9/10 of their fighters would rather be in the UFC given the opportunity to jump ship. Still, having guys on the roster that are unhappy and don't want to fight must be corrosive.
Re: Bellator releases lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez Alvarez hasn't fought since November. If he's healthy the UFC should sign him and match him up ASAP. Alvarez/Cerrone or something along those lines would breathe some much needed life into UFC 177 if they could get it done that fast.
Re: Bellator releases lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez Alvarez vs Michael Johnson/Khabilov would be a good match up to see where Alvarez really ranks in the UFC. I don't know if he should be fed Cowboy just yet. I was excited about it earlier but I wanna see Cowboy and Green duke it out.
Re: Bellator releases lightweight champ Eddie Alvarez; update: Cerrone vs. Alvarez @ Can't get it done for 177 but Cerrone/Alvarez will happen at 178. Bobby Green will be looking for a new opponent.
Re: Bellator releases lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez Cerrone wins, IMO Risky first fight for Alvarez. Would've done better with a well-known but lesser opponent.
Re: Bellator releases lightweight champ Eddie Alvarez; update: Cerrone vs. Alvarez @ Bobby Green vs Nate Diaz please then please. That guy deserves a good opponent.
Re: Bellator releases lightweight champ Eddie Alvarez; update: Cerrone vs. Alvarez @ I'd be down for that fight and I think Nate will be back sooner than later.
Re: Bellator releases lightweight champ Eddie Alvarez; update: Cerrone vs. Alvarez @ Dunham, Martins, Barboza, Miller, maybe Alvarez? Martins was a hot prospect when he faced him Cerrone on track for Fighter of the Year
Re: Bellator releases lightweight champ Eddie Alvarez; update: Cerrone vs. Alvarez @ Yeah, Nick is in so Nate wont be far behind. Let's be honest too, the LW division needs more killers.
