The Chicago Bears placed receiver Marquess Wilson on short-term injured reserve on Tuesday in addition to signing cornerback Kelvin Hayden. With Wilson expected to miss the next month recovering from a fractured clavicle, the Bears made the move to free up a spot on the active roster, which allowed them to sign Hayden. By placing Wilson on the injured reserve with a designation to return, the receiver won't be able to participate in practice until Week 7, and he won't be eligible to play until Nov. 9, when the Bears travel to Green Bay coming off their bye week.
