You must have something better than this Cashman shit down in the farm.

...uhhh, they called up about 9 players today.

...and Drew is only in because Gardner was ejected.

...uhhh, why couldn't/didn't they use some "call-up" to play instead of Drew after Gardner was ejected?
Maybe an outfielder, and then use Ryan? Maybe? Huh?

You're not nitpickin' are you? You knew darn well what Art was referring to.
    lol, You just can't resist.

...uhhh, because they didn't call up a 2Bman, dumbass. And Chris Young did the same thing Drew did, he struck out looking.

...and you "just can't resist" responding to me without making yourself look like the half-wit you are...every, single, time.

Chris Young? I'm sure the OP (as well as I ) didn't have a journeyman retread in mind when he mentioned farmhands....and by the way, the Yanks did call up a couple of other outfielders didn't they?
They did have Ryan for 2nd base instead of DREW, didn't they? umm... huh?

You missed your big chance.....and once again, you missed the point.
Keep plugging professor. Isn't this fun?

    ...lol...no, I didn't miss anything.

...Ryan?...that's your offensive upgrade over Drew?...no, you're the one who "missed the point"...the point was that art didn't even know the call ups had been made...clear it up for ya?

...as far as OFers, you actually want to throw someone inexperienced into a game the Yanx desperately were trying to win?...brilliant, simply fucking brilliant.

    Lets see.....
    Drew (72 ab) is batting APPROXIMATELY .151, .222 OBP, (.167/ .243 combined NY-Bos)
Ryan (75 ab) is batting APPROXIMATELY .213, .259 OBP

    Two things for sure --
Ryan is a lousy hitter, and Drew is one of the easiest outs (2014 numbers) in MLB....right along with N.L. pitchers.

And why the heck not give one of the young call-ups an at-bat instead of the immortal Chris Young?

Now tell me how "wrong" I am.

A rookie call-up taking an AB in the 9th inning of a 5 run game with bases empty instead of Chris Young?---> (released by the Mets, who desperately need outfield production) lmao

Oh m'gosh, it's an outrage! lol

...you could have stopped right there...if there's no difference, wtf difference does it make? ...and what exactly is your point?...I really don't think you have one.
...The OP said nothing about why they didn't use Drew or Young. He asked about "the farm"...and didn't even know the call ups had been made...THAT alone was the reason for my initial reply...is this simple concept too complicated to wrap your brain around?

...lol...like I said, "every, single, time"....you're terrible, and not even good for batting practice.

Ryan is currently batting over 50 points higher than Drew...nah, not much of a difference.

I commented on the post because I knew the Yanks made a couple of call-ups and by the way,
I would prefer to stop right where I DID finish---

    Here it was:

"A rookie call-up taking an AB in the 9th inning of a 5 run game with bases empty instead of Chris Young?---> (released by the Mets, who desperately need outfield production) lmao"

"Oh m'gosh, it's an outrage! lol"

Thank you very much...now can we move on?....go ahead, finish this off.

...one more time, and I'll put things in their chronological order so maybe you'll finally catch on.

    1. Art said NOTHING about established players.

2..His comment/question was strictly about "the farm".

    3. He evidently was not aware that some kids from the farm had been called up earlier that same day.

    4. I informed him that they had called some kids up earlier that day and that Drew was only in because Gardner got ejected.

    5. Then you and all 3 of your brain cells showed up.

...that's it. Why is it so hard for your to follow?...n/m, it's obvious now that I think about it.

This thread has shown more passion than the Yankee lineup this season.

Ladies and Gentlemen, here's your New York Yank-threes.

It seems like this team has scored 3 or less runs half the time. (pretty dam close)

    Disgusting.

Tex and McCann are knuckle heads. This poor offense isn't only their fault but if they would make a sincere effort to hit at least one ball per game against the shift towards the left side, their BAs would probably be 15 or more points higher with alot more rallys created- and they would still have similiar power numbers imo.
