1. Make sure VC doesn't get hot (21.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 6.3 assists against the Raps this year)2. Contain Kidd and RJ (Don't let VC's sidekicks get hot along with him, or else the Raps will have a lot of trouble)3. Stay out of foul trouble (Especially our main players)4. Play team basketball, share the ball well (Most of the time the Raps win when they share the ball well)5. Rebounds, rebounds, rebounds (The Raps are still not a very strong rebounding team, so even the little guys will have to box out and try to grab a board)Those are just some of the winning keys that I thought of, and it'd be great if you guys could post yours. Control Kidd. Kidd needs to be boxed out of the paint at all times. He really runs the Nets offense well when he is near the basket. The Nets big man are not necassarily skilled, but know their positioning on the court. Mikki Moore can really get some uncontested layups at times.

As long as Kidd is forced to dish it out, im not worried RJ isn't 100% . So as long as he too is contained im not worried. Which is very feasible.3. Meh, who does NJ have up front?4. This is the Raptors, all about team ball.5. Toronto has a relatively rare edge here.

But im kidna of worried about Kidd. people say he might not be able to keep up with TJ Ford and may get tired in the series go to a best of 7. But Kidd has always played well against the Raptors and he can light it up any time. And TJ might get bullied inside if Kidd decides to post him up.1. Control the temple of the game the Raptors need to play their own style of running and must not fall into many traps the Nets may give to make you play their kind of ball to help them win. After all they have more experience in the playoff then our team. So we must control the game and make them play Raptors style.2. Raptor fans getting into the head of VC. like cheering MVP to Bosh that made VC have that expression and make him jealous last time if you watched the game.
theirs only two things the raps need to focus on to beat the nets imo, contain kidd, and keep the ball out of vc hands, I might be underrating the rest of the nets, but I seriously cant see them beating the raptors if they do those two things
Allright let's review Game 1...1. Make sure VC doesn't get hot (VC struggled for most of the the game and shot a low percentage)2. Contain Kidd and RJ (RJ had a game-high in points and Kidd was controlling the tempo of the game and almost finished with a triple double)3. Stay out of foul trouble (Bosh had 2 early fouls in the first quarter which kept him out of the game for a few minutes that might've costed us)4. Play team basketball, share the ball well (We were moving the ball well but we just had too many turnovers in my opinion) 5. Rebounds, rebounds, rebounds (We got outrebounded and some of the boards the Nets collected were at the end of the game :thumbdn1: )So it does make sense that we lost the game because these keys were important to winning the game. I believe if we accomplish these goals for Game 2 we will have a greater chance of winning.GO RAPS GO :dribble:
Another key is to make sure Bosh's game is together. If he is effective then you can work it down low to him. Noboy on the Nest can stop him.
1. Another one for game 2 is to calm down. The Raptors were rushing things last game, and needs to relax themselves. They need to drive more and get to the free throw line.2. Again take out Joey Graham. Rather have like Mo, Dixon or jackson in the game.
For game 3 what do we need to continue doing.1. continue shutting down VC even though the crowd isnt getting in his head anymore2. continuing grabbing the boards well like in game2.3. continue to not turn the ball over as muchImprovements.1. Share the ball2. Raptors still need to calm down especially their young ones who get anxious when the ball is in their hands3. slow things down, raptors rushed thins quite a bit and took some silly shots4. play better defense
