Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Marcedes Lewis will miss six to eight weeks after suffering a high ankle sprain in the team's 41-10 loss at Washington on Sunday.

Lewis is tied for the team lead with eight catches and has 106 receiving yards through the first two games. His injury leaves the Jaguars with only one healthy tight end on the roster in Mickey Shuler, whom the team claimed off waivers from Atlanta on Aug. 31. Shuler is a second-year player with two career catches.
