Pulls out his guitar, twangs up a "G" Chords leads the Yankees Team Song for tonight, an old Leadbelly Classic, a hit for the Weavers Sometimes I live in the country, Sometimes I live in town. Sometimes I take a great notion, To jump into the river and drown. Irene goodnight, Irene Goodnight, Goodnight Irene, Goodnight Irene, I'll see you in my dreams.
Indeed...."Live at Ronnie Scott's", what a show......only $9 from Amazon, if you have an Amazon Prime Membership....if so, you get the DVD for 9$ which INCLUDES 2nd Day delivery, even on Sundays.....
...I know both of these albums are 40+ years old but this was my fav Beck album; (youtube sound quality sux) ...ass kicking song. ============================= ...this is Beck playing with Stanley Clarke, Steve Gadd, Chick Corea, Tom Malone, et al; ...another ass kicking song and an all star band.
...Jeff Beck changed styles a few years back and threw away the pick and became a finger picker...I saw this whole concert awhile back...check out the girl who's playing bass (Tal Wilkenfeld)..unreal. ...and check out this insane shit that her and Beck pull off together...never seen anything like it;
________________________________ Big deal. I think his music sucks and is boring....I've heard it. How do like that?
Those are some epic moments in Rock/Music. Love Tai Wilkenfeld, that young girl must of been born with a bass in hand. She plays like a 40 year veteran of a bass. Incredible Ronnie Scott Footage, et al. So many musicians have remarked how Jeff Beck does more with his (pick-less as you mentioned) right hand, than any player performing, ..... I've always thought, hell give Jeff, a couple more dials, and switches for his Humbuckers, and watching his hands move alone would be God Like....as are the sounds he gets out of a guitar, in a league of his own in ways.....A Master of Masters....no doubt....what I'd give to see Gilmour and J. Beck team up on a record....
Jeff Beck - "Truth" great album with Rod Stewart vocals https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_AsHvTZASFk&list=RD_AsHvTZASFk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pcsrASSQs2o&list=RDpcsrASSQs2o
And lets not put Bernie Williams AND Jeff Beck in the same conversation when it comes to guitar. Becks 2nd album, Beck-Ola (with Rod Stewart on vocals) Good tune --> "Spanish Boots" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KVBqy9KRm-0 I remember it like it was yesterday.....by the way..I can still remember the day I bought Black Sabbath's 1st album...just like yesterday, GREAT album
No....the other Beck you losers
Just throwing a little sarcasm and black humor in there, the way this teams season has gone some of them may have the notion to "jump into the river and drown. No crack on Bernies guitar playing from me, I've heard he's pretty damn good.
Dust In the Wind, the only Kansas Tune I liked, musical synopsis of the Yankees Season. Yep nice work, I like it.
