Pretty difficult 2nd half of the season IMO

That looks to be a brutal schedule.
    @ MSU
    @ ASU
    @ Stanford
    USC here right after Stanford.

Brutal to begin with but top that off with a new O-Line (essentially) and a new QB. We could even be facing a situation where we have a new defensive line as well.

Yeah pretty brutal. I'm really hoping the amount of Freshman we have playing now will pay dividends next year though.

Could be a long year for sure.

But who knows? For all we know the Ducks could be world beaters next season.

Next year's gameplan: hand the ball to Royce Freeman.

I've got to tell you Mahalak's demeanor reminds me of Dan Marino. We could only be so blessed to have him up next but my gut tells me this kid will take over next year and do it well. Very smart and articulate kid for sure. That said having Tyner, Rolls, Marshall, Taj, and maybe Kirk coming in to go with our receiver by committee I think we'll still be very dangerous! My big question will be on the D line if AA and Buckner decide to go pro, who's up next there? Perhaps at that point we might really think about going to a 4-3 for a while!

When I think of Cocaine Dan, I think of a red faced douchebag berating teammates. I hope Morgan is 180 degrees of that... Joe "Cool" Montana, like the MM who precedes him. Hot heads who excel at QB are the exception not the ideal

give it up already. We run a hybrid D shifting between a 3-4 and 4-3 and various schemes and zone blitzes to keep the opposing O off balance. Why limit your team with a single look when you're having massive success mixing it up?

Cocaine or Serial Womanizing pick your poison! Both would be a great segues at least from a football stance from Mariota. That said I think Marcus has Montana touch with Vick legs. DANGEROUS and he'll win the Heisman!

I wonder if the Ducks will add some heavy run packages next season. Mahalak looks like a bigger guy and Freeman is only gonna get bigger and more powerful. I'd like to see us do what Auburn did the year they won.

I think everybody who lived in Miami in the 80's did cocaine. Shoot, the whole Cowboys team found it in uber-conservative Tejas.

except that was his nickname coming out of college

anyway, my point was that I don't like his sort of demeanor at QB. I'll take the calm cool collected guy over the jacked up sort everyday

This can easily be a 2-3 loss season. So we should enter with low expectations for the 2015 season

Ain't nothing wrong with the Alamo Bowl/Holiday Bowl if they do indeed lose 2-3 games.

Next year will be the true first year of coaching for Helf and crew in my eyes.... New QB, 3 on the O line including the center, possibly 2 on the D line with Buckner and AA. Our secondary will lose Olomu, Hill and Dargan too. Going to be fun watching all the new Quacks flying around. That said we are stocked at skilled positions, and by next year Crosby, Hunt, Johnstone and Brenner should be ready to rock and roll on the O line. Throw in Lousi and the man CHILD Eggert and we should be okay! My concern is D Tackle and our very young secondary.

    Going to be fun though!

I'm excited to see what Arrion Springs brings to the table next season, I already like what Reggie Daniels is doing. Our secondary usually works itself out, I'm not too worried.
