Our 5th Rippy Award is the first one for us the fans! This is the Rippy for Best Trail Blazers Office Space / Cubicle. And being that it's the first fan Rippy it also comes with a prize for the winner! We don't have that many entries and a few, while enjoyable, had to be disqualified. Good luck to all that entered! 1. El Pres' F' the Lakers! 2. Blazer Wookee's office 3. David MacKay's Home Office
I VOTED FOR MYSELF. (although I'd ask people to vote for one of the other two, mine was done more as a prank, bro).
Well, the other one was from a porn, the amateur auditions one, I thought more of the shut ins here would recognize it.
I'm not voting out of protest. Hailblazers got his wife's in by 12 and that's the one I was going to vote for! I loved all the Santa hats placed perfectly above the blazers' heads.
The Blazers saw what you posted and with the bottle of Boones in the picture their first concern was that you drink on the job. I tried to tell them that you only drink tequila while working but I don't think that helped much.
I asked about that in the nomination thread. Didn't know if that was your office or just a window ledge with bobbleheads on it. Not sure if you would have beaten Wookee so I suggest you enter that next Tuesday in the Rippy Award for the Largest Collection of Trail Blazers Memorabilia.
This poll will close on 09-19-2014 at 12:15 PM Sorry Stevenson, I wasn't sure if it was an office and I think you'll do better in a different category. If you had entered this category and lost I wouldn't have let you enter the same thing in a different category.
I feel like there should be more time to enter the fan category too. Like you could have asked for submissions before you started the awards. Ran all of the player categories first, and then done the fan categories.
We thought it would be best to mix things up. The very first day of the Rippy Awards a schedule was posted. The schedule is also posted on TrailBlazers.com. This is the very first time the Blazers and this forum have ever done anything like this. Hell, this might even be the first time a sports franchise has done a fan based award like this. I've done everything I could think of to ask for people's help and suggestions. I've tried to keep the forum very involved in all aspects of this.
