Certainly can't cry "Unfair!" A- seems pretty generous. Then again it helps that the graders elected to exclude the loss of Deng from their grading period.

The end of Aschburner's summation is on point...there are several questions this team needs to answer, but if Rose isn't right, it figures to be a disappointing season.

Boozer's different IMO. Honestly, you're tbe only person I've read who viewed Boozer's exit as anything but a positive.

He was 14/8, and started for us. He was on the roster at the end of the season. Why wouldn't he be considered in the calculus?

Not sure if the article's graders considered Boozer "in the calculus," but apparently they didn't feel he was worth a mention. This said, Boozer's amnesty did facilitate the free agency signings of Gasol and Mirotic.

Absolutely, but technically Deng wasn't an offseason move.

All the Bulls' salary dumps are offseason moves of some sort.

Only by your rules. Deng was traded during the 2013-14 season.

He was on the team at this point last season.

    He's gone. So is Boozer.

For cap space. Space used to sign Gasol and overpay Kirk.
