I'm not including GSP because he is "on a break" and hasn't ever said the R-word to my knowledge.

Should mention that already in the HOF are Gracie, Shamrock, Severn, Couture, Coleman, Liddell, Lewis (Mask), Hughes, Ortiz, Griffin, and Bonnar.

Ortiz, Griffin, and Bonnar are not on the UFC website for some odd reason.

Every person I nominated should get in, IMHO.

Abbott is unofficially in. White has said as much. Just a matter of when.

If it's just one guy, has to be BJ Penn. He may not have made the most of his talents, but the first 1/2 (two thirds?) of his career was legen--wait for it& I hope you're not lactose intolerant--dary!

I think Jens Pulver gets often overlooked but he should eventually end up in their too.

    I voted Rich Franklin.

Has he ever had any controversy in his career?

No. Guys like Franklin and Tanner are part of a bygone era in MMA. Both guys came up around the same time and believe it or not learned a lot about BJJ and MMA from watching tapes like Gracies in Action. As far as I know, Franklin has maintained his marriage as well, which is rare in the world of pro athletes.

On that note I would have no problem with Evan Tanner getting in as well.

The UFC should figure out how they want to run their HOF and start doing a # of annual inductions.
