The Atlanta Braves have offered interim general manager John Hart the job full time, Yahoo! Sports reported Tuesday. The website, citing sources, reported that Hart told Braves president John Schuerholz he needed to give the offer serious thought before deciding whether to accept it. Atlanta fired Frank Wren as general manager on Monday. He was in his 15th season with the Braves and his seventh as the club's GM.
