NBATV's "Real Training Camp" show will be out at our PF Thursday 10/2 shooting a 90 min show and will air on NBATV Friday 10/3 at 11:00AM our time. Should be fun to watch!
SWEET! I've been waiting for them to pick our team to show this. What an odd time to broadcast it though. They must not find it compelling enough to show at primetime.
Is it Blazers only or are we going to be 30 seconds of a 90 minute video showcasing the Cavs and thunder?
It's a 90 min show all on the Blazers at the PF. Vince C. And Steve Smith are the hosts and will be interviewing players and coaches, staff. They did this about 5 years ago as well. Sent from my Baller-Ass 5.5" iPhone 6+......... FAMS
...you mean the season where we lost Joel, Greg, Brandon, Nate, and had to start Dante Cunningham? Would it be all right if they didn't do this show again? I'm not ready for Meyers Leonard at starting center.
The production team doesn't realize that fans just want to see the action on the court! Sent from my Baller-Ass 5.5" iPhone 6+......... FAMS
And for your information, it will be just 2 talking heads at our practice facility with occasional interviews and live listening in with our coaches most likely. Sent from my Baller-Ass 5.5" iPhone 6+......... FAMS
Watching it now, so far they are actually showing some action. I see CJ and barton guarding dame a lot. They want those 2 to work on their on ball defense, thrill was saying that yesterday as well.
if you have NBATV I suggest dvring a replay of it. This was the best footage you could have hoped for. It is being replayed at 7 pm Saturday. They showed the players and didn't talk over the people who were mic'd up. Dame and coach stotts both wore microphones. They showed about 20 minutes of 5v5 rotating team scrimmage. Interviewed a lot of players after the scrimmage, and had MB and olshey on before it. My biggest take away is how good the chemistry is between everyone, and I think dame is a big part of that. Trobs jump shot also looks way improved. His mid range game seems to have gotten really good. CJ has great hands in the defensive end. He is a ways off, but has the potential to turn into our best on ball defender. LA said he is going to shoot more threes this year. Steve Smith and VC had good commentary, much better than Isaiah.
Vince chela I. The best I've seen is some short highlight videos on NBA.com I'll keep looking, for it is a great watch.
I watched. Great show on all levels. You saw the plays, quick-moving interviews, scrimmage, a little stats, everything except show-biz surfing scenes...which the next program, Lakers practice, began with, so I turned it off.
