Foster Farms Recalls Frozen Chicken Breast Strips Due to Possible Contamination

    Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service said the recalled chicken product is possibly contaminated with listeria monocytogenes, which can cause listeriosis.

    The frozen Chicken Breast Grilled Strips were produced at Foster Farm’s plant in Farmerville, Louisiana on August 5 and a Best by Date of “08-05-15.”

    The packages, which came in 3.5-lb. plastic resealable bags, have the establishment number “P-33901.″
