Nick Friedell @NickFriedell Mike Dunleavy will not play tonight because of left knee soreness. Rookie Doug McDermott is expected to make his first professional start. I will move this thread into the game thread when it is made.

Is Noah starting or even playing? From how he looked/limped last game, it'd be surprising to see him out there.
I will not do PBP. I am watching the Bama-Arkansas game. I have the game taped and will be about 1/4 behind. I wont do the plays unless they are live.
Butler dings himself after missing dunk attempt. Doesn't look serious. Sent from my Venue 8 Pro 5830 using Tapatalk
Two observations: 1).I wouldn't be at all surprised if Kirk's time is split between backing up Derrick and playing alongside him to ease his load on offense and defense. 2). Gasol has a lot of the same issues Boozer has on defense, but with two big exceptions: a). He can protect the rim w/ his length b). He can guard centers. I think that's pretty big, because that means it'll be a LOT easier to pair him with other guys and not have to overcompensate for his shortcomings like we did with Boozer.
Mike McGraw @McGrawDHBulls #Bulls second string not functioning well as a unit, something Thibs has stressed about 12 times since start of camp.
I'm one of the few who thought Boozer was great when used properly, but with Gasol fitting in so easy, he looks like a second option on the floor. Booz never did.
