#6 IBF, #14 WBA heavyweight contender Steve Cunningham (28-6, 12 KOs) easily defeated the very slow and hulking 278 pound Nate Visinia (10-1, 8 KOs) by a 7th round stoppage on Saturday night at the 2300 Arena in South Philadelphia. The fight was halted after the 7th round by the advice of the ringside doctor due the 30-year-old Visinia having taken too much punishment. Visinia was bleeding from the mouth the last several rounds, and getting hit far too much. His lack of hand speed and his slow foot movement made him an easy target for the 38-year-old Cunningham.
