That's on the front page of NBA GameTime. And it's a picture of..... Lillard and the Blazers. Why do people hate us?? We're such a good team and people constantly overlook us.

I sure hope the coaching staff posts this in the locker room

Should have been houston. They would be wise to tank out of playoffs, which will be easy to do this year. This season is going to start some big moves in the rockets FO when losing Lin and Parsons exposes what a poorly run organization that has been. Including the pairing of Howard and Harden who make sense together like peanut butter and mayonnaise. The rockets are a first round exit if they make the playoffs.

I blame Trey Kirby of the starters for dissing the Blazers. Has any season started in ages where the Blazers weren't overlooked?

Fuck the media. We were a 50+ win team in the fucking western conference, we only didn't advance further in the playoffs because we ran into the buzzsaw that was the Spurs, we have two all stars, the best starting 5 in the NBA (arguably), an improved bench (literally could not get worse from the last two seasons) and one if not the best homecourt advantages in the NBA.

Just going to be the same thing as last year. Blazers made some overlooked moves for underrated players. They get on national TV and handle one of the media sweethearts and all the sudden the cat is out of the bag and everyone is talking about how we are a surprise team. The media always needs a surprise team, the better we are the more likely we are a target for their BS.

Just look at the smaller markets likely to make the playoffs. They already kind of have to hype GSW because of curry and thompsons involvement in the FIBA games. OKC has the reigning MVP so they have to chalk them up as well. San Antonio, you can't put the defending champs in the shadows.

This can only mean that we're trading for Kobe.

It all comes down to respecting the roster...

    They don't.

If I remember correctly there was another professional team that fed off this same kind of disrespect and they went on to win the Super Bowl

I'd add the coaching as well. They love Doc Rivers and Stotts rarely gets mentioned.

Why would Stotts need to be mentioned with Rivers? What correlation do they have with each other?

read the post I replied to and you'll see, the post said they don't respect our players and I said I'd add the coach to that mix. Rivers is a media darling and Stotts never gets much press

Ha, reminds me of '89. I moved to Texas and a friend of mine there said we "overachieved". The next year we didn't win the title and he said we were supertalented underachievers.

    go figure.

btw, moved back in 91 :)

Ha, ha. No joke. Blow it up. Make a poster out of it. Post it in our locker room. Take a copy on the road and post it in the locker room during road games. This should be the theme of the season. This is like a big 'fuck you' to Damian Lillard. Damian Lillard doesn't like a big 'fuck you'. He'll fuck you harder. LOL

In fairness, the Blazers deserved to be "overlooked" most seasons since 2000. But this disrespect is just silly or ignorant.

Post it along with the Simmons "we are one of the most boring teams to watch" and being cut from the U.S. Team
