RDER CHARGE DROPPED AGAINST MAN WHO KILLED COP IN NO-KNOCK RAID http://www.infowars.com/murder-charges-dropped-against-man-who-killed-cop-in-no-knock-raid/ The article explains that he used self defense and it was a victory for the 4th amendment
I am neither a strict 2nd Amendment-ist nor a policeman, but I think it's pretty jacked up that ANYONE can enter a home unannounced. Sucks that a policeman was killed, but it sucks more that he was put into that position.
I agree... I understand the whole "trying to catch them before they dump their drugs", but armed houses can fire back
So you think it sucks more to be put in that position than to actually die? It might suck for the home owner that someone is entering his house unannounced, but that officer lost his life that night for doing his job.
His job he signed up for has risk, which im 100% certain he was aware of. Maybe they shouldn't issue "unannounced warrants"
Yes, I think it sucks more that a policeman was put in that position. People die everyday, but for a functional component of society to negligently put one of its citizens (the cop, in this case) in a position to be killed legitimately by another sucks more. Because it could happen again tomorrow. Or the next day. Or 20 more times this week.
Nothing "astonishing" about the decision. Even announced raids carry no credibility, with home invaders now identifying themselves as police more often than not. Putting officers and families at risk of death over a dozen pot plants is not what Public Safety is all about. It's insanity.
