Lebron can't match Wiggins's 60% 3-point%. For you PER fans, Wiggins had about a 18 PER in the summer league and has managed to maintain this in the NBA preseason. That's something. He is a highly regarded prospect as evidenced by his selection as the #1 pick of a (2014) draft that was generally considered to be very good. He and the 2013 #1 overall pick, Anthony Bennett, were traded by the Cavaliers for Lebron James this summer. Actually, Bennett has outperformed Wiggins this preseason, but I agree with Denny that Wiggins is the more highly regarded prospect (based strictly on what I've read). High-potential but unproven prospects are fun to watch. Minnesota's got a bunch of them. Enjoy!
Wiggins is 19 years old, too. I think we're basically scouting him for the future, even though he's certain to contribute pretty nicely right away.
From what I've seen, Wiggins has some game. He may turn out to be the real deal. I hope for his sake that as few fans/media as possible hang that "next Lebron" thing on him...it just ain't fair.
He's a superb athlete and right now that's about the extent of his defensive ability. If he gets some coaching and wants to be a great defender, he will be.
From what little I've seen Wiggins seems more of a Gerald Green/Iguodala type than Lebron (which was always an unfair comparison). I think he'll turn out to be a fine player, but will forever be the victim of false expectations. I'm not sure he's good enough with the ball in his hands to become a Kobe/Lebron/T-Mac type.

Easily the best I've seen Brooks look this preseason. Thibodeau has beeren behind him thru it all. Sent from my Venue 8 Pro 5830 using Tapatalk
