On the eve of their game against the Atlanta Falcons at Wembley Stadium, the Detroit Lions have suspended defensive tackle C.J. Mosley and sent him home from England.

The Lions announced Saturday that they have suspended Mosley for two weeks for an unspecified violation of team rules and conduct detrimental to the team. They have placed him on the reserve/suspended by the team list.

The 31-year-old Mosley is the Lions' No. 3 defensive tackle behind starters Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley and has had 11 tackles and 2.5 sacks this season.
