The Blue Jackets have placed left wing Matt Calvert on injured reserve retroactive to Oct. 24 and recalled center Alexander Wennberg from their American Hockey League affiliate in Springfield, Massachusetts. Calvert, who has a goal and an assist in seven games this season, is expected to miss one week with an upper-body injury.
