Should be interesting. James with 5-15 FGs and 8 turnovers against Knicks. He will be good tonight. Bulls bench should be better then Cavs bench.

Bulls bench will be the key. Our length is going to give them problems.

Look for Haywood to play for Cleveland to try and match out size. Maybe even Jones to pull one of our bigs away from the basket

Rose doesn't necessarily need to be the best player in the building, but it would help a lot if he could be the best point guard in the building.

Rose doesn't have to be the best player in the building anymore. He just has to put butts in the seats.

The butts are already in the seats and pretty much always have been...attendance in the year before Rose was drafted was over 900,000.

Without him, there's no hope. But I guess the old, "Tyson Chandler is going to be way better than Elton Brand" line of marketing may fool people for the hundredth time.

The fan base is so loyal and the Bulls organization does so many things well that top 5 is the floor and #1 is sort of a tradition.

Chicago fans go to Cubs games, too. They haven't won a championship in decades, either.

    Keep moving the goalposts.

When I last noticed, Rose was #4 behind James, Durant and Bryant. I believe that the revenue from jersey sales and other league-licensed items is shared equally among all teams so, revenue-wise, the Bulls wouldn't be pulling any more for Rose jersey sales than for Lebron jersey sales.

Revenue sharing is like any tax. The more profit, the more tax you pay. But it's better to maximize profit and pay the tax than to not have what's left over.

The revenue is also shared among the players. The Bulls minus jersey revenues might not want to pay for Kirk. Haha. Who am I kidding. OK, someone else.

EDIT: jerseys sold locally are revenues to the team.

Rose is making $18+mil this season...that's a lot of local jerseys.

You piqued my interest. $20M is 250,000 jerseys at $80. The Chicago metro area is about 10M people. So 1 in 40 need to buy a jersey to make $20M in sales.

The $80 figure is not scientific. I see his jerseys sold online at $40 and at $120.

The past three years, his jersey has been #2, #3, and #4 in worldwide sales.
