Can the Bulls just play Brooks, Snell, McDermott, Bairstow and Mirotic 48 minutes each and win this game? If needed, they can have Nazr for up to 8 minutes.
The Bulls managed to lose to the Sixers, Magic, Pistons, Bucks, Knicks, Bobcats, Jazz, Pelicans, TWolves and Kings last season. One or two of those kind of losses and fans will be howling about star players taking games off.
Whenever I hear the media talk about "easy" games I chuckle to myself. The other guys get paid for playing as well. Sent from my Venue 8 Pro 5830 using Tapatalk
They are young. We are old. Gasol, Dunleavy, and Hinrich are a combined 100+ years old. That's 3 of the 5 starters, and Jo has only looked healthy in 1 or 2 games.
Well at least the Bulls are consistent...Bulls have more turnovers and fewer offensive boards than the Sixers. Sent from my Venue 8 Pro 5830 using Tapatalk
The Sixers are playing like a team that really, really wants to get a win and is willing to do what it takes to see it happen. The Bulls are not. There are a lot of things the Bulls are not doing well, but to give them credit, Henry Sims and Tony Wroten came to play tonight.
And to be a little more granular, it was the bench in particular that really shit the bed. The starters left with a lead, came back with a deficit, and then managed to tie things back up by halftime. I thought Taj in particular looked really lethargic. Gasol has had a good night statistically but I'm wondering if he's partly to blame for our offensive rebounding woes. He doesn't go out of his way to clear out space and mostly just gets the boards that come to him. He's 7'1, so quite a few come to him anyways, but I think it makes a difference on those close calls.
His team just let the tanking 76ers put up 57 points in a half. Good thing Thibodeau is such a laid-back big picture guy. Sent from my Venue 8 Pro 5830 using Tapatalk
The 2nd unit has been godawful tonight. Looks like Thibd is goong to shorten the rotation some. Sent from my Venue 8 Pro 5830 using Tapatalk
