Stipulations... - No more than two title fights, both title fights must be main events - No non-title fights for reigning champions - Active and injured fighters only - Five fights max (just the PPV portion)
Re: Using the UFC's current roster, what's the biggest selling event they could put o I think the biggest main event they can muster right now would be Cain Velasquez vs. Jon Jones for the HW title. That'd be my main event. My co-main would be the much talked about lightweight title fight between Anthony Pettis and Jose Aldo. My undercard would include two fights that are already happening--Anderson Silva vs. Nick Diaz and Junior dos Santos vs. Stipe Miocic. The curtain-jerker would be Donald Cerrone vs. Conor McGregor at 150-lbs. I don't think this PPV could be as big as UFC 100 but would easily eclipse 1-million buys.
Re: Using the UFC's current roster, what's the biggest selling event they could put o DC vs Jones Aldo vs McGregor Alistair Overeem vs Junior Dos Santos Nick Diaz vs Robbie Lawler Nate Diaz vs Donald Cerrone II
Re: Using the UFC's current roster, what's the biggest selling event they could put o More Realistic, Bookable Event 1) Demetrious Johnson vs Renan Barao 2) Conor McGregor vs Chad Mendes 3) Alexander Gustafsson vs Anthony Johnson (already booked for UFC on Fox 14 --> nice one Silva) 4) Anthony Pettis vs Jose Aldo 5) Chris Weidman vs Anderson Silva III Dana White's Dream Event 1) T.J Dillashaw vs Uriah Faber 2) Conor McGregor vs Donald Cerrone 3) Anderson Silva vs Lyoto Machida 4) Chris Weidman vs Georges St.Pierre (UFC Middleweight Title) 5) Cain Velasquez vs Jon Jones (UFC Heavyweight Title)
Re: Using the UFC's current roster, what's the biggest selling event they could put o All of these proposed fights are great but it goes to show that there are peaks and valleys in MMA and the UFC is pretty low right now. They are hurting for star power. Doesn't help to have perpetually injured champions, either.
