According to DFW. Lesnar is now healthy having recovered from repeated bouts of diverticulitis.

Lesnar is under contract with the WWE until April of 2015. After that he is free to do as he pleases.

The 37-year old last fought in December of 2011, losing to Alistair Overeem by TKO. After the fight he declared his intention to retire from MMA.

I'd like to see him go one more fight just to see if he can still hang. His illness took a lot out of him. Sure, he didn't like getting punched in the face, but an illness like that makes you weaker.

there was definitely a difference pre&post illness. He was not nearly as explosive IMO.

I do wonder if age would be a factor for him now to re-enter the octagon a year from now when he's 38-ish. Age may slow him down too.

Heavyweight is the oldest division, though.

true, but for a guy who relies more on his athletic prowess rather than skills it may make a difference.

Much like with Gina Carano, Bellator is swooping in and trying to sign Brock Lesnar, supposedly.

Competition? I sure hope so. It can only be good for the sport.

In related news, industry insider/possible liar FrontRowBrian is suggesting the UFC's big signing was supposed to be CM Punk.

DFW will never let Bellator sign Brock.

Brock is in a great position to sign an unprecedented MMA contract.

Seems doubly unlikely as WWE would want to keep him away from TNA as well.
