Tony Bellew admits Nathan Cleverly defeat could force early retirement

    Bellew came up short the last time the pair met, in the same ring almost exactly three years ago, but is convinced he has got the measure of the Welshman on the eve of their eagerly awaited rematch in front of 10,000 fans at the Liverpool Echo Arena.

    If Bellew does not win he admits he will consider his future, although the 31-year-old says Cleverly has two chances of returning to Wales with another victory on Merseyside - "no chance and absolutely no chance."

    "Cleverly has not got a cat in hell's hope of beating me this time, not a prayer," he said.

    "The last time we stepped into the ring I was far too cautious and spent the latter rounds trying to play catch-up, whereas this time there will be a knockout and it won't be me lying on the canvas looking up at the ring lights.
