Looks like it's a given that he's going to sign a contract paying at least 20 mil per. He's averaged (career) 17 HRs 73 RBI, .292 BA, .345 OBP, .464 SLG% per season. Last three years: 14 HRs, 72 RBI, .280 BA, .335 OBP, .424 SLG% Now comes the good part of the post lol. I believe Arod is due to be paid approx 20 mil this season and of course I understand all the negativity that's surrounding him and he just might be washed up, but... ...but, in a weird way, I wouldn't mind seeing him putting up numbers similar to what Sandoval has over the last three seasons....lmao... Let the writers/media who are licking their chops anticipating a train wreck have a nice little dish of horsesh!t stew to swallow. If Arod is capable of playing - and he is in the lineup, go for it!
...^^^ I won't dispute that Sandoval will be over paid...as are most all FAs. ...but ARod's body started breaking down years ago ...and he has not faced ML pitching in nearly 2 years ...he's toast.
