Sorry but Yankees are screwed. 3rd place finish here we come. My week is off to a rousing start thanks to the Damn Red Sox.

I wouldn't worry Jill, they still have no pitching.

I think they will when they start to trade their excess outfielders and a few young guys.

I think the issue for all of us is that we see the Red Soxs improving themselves and we see the Yankees looking for the next Solarte. I am not saying that Panda or Ramirez would be fits for the Yankees cause they are not, but Tomas cost nothing but money, legit right handed power, and we aren't even in on him. So it begs the question, what are we in on. I think we are all in on Trot T.

    ...hey MB...how goes it?

...I know Tulo has some question marks, but I'd still love to have him.

Hey Frank, these periodic visits just won't do, you will be a regular once again or you'll be severally reprimanded. In the meantime. Have a great thanksgiving.

The Yankees unfortunately have bad contracts (Arod, CC and Tex) that they have to wait out. That's $75 million for very underwhelming production.

It only makes sense. However, does it appear that we are clueless in our approach to this off season. Are they really going to try to sell us "our hands are tied with long term contracts". Bruce from the Reds, it worked before with a young guy named O'Neill, but I don't have any confidence that we are being run any better than a Perry Fewell defense...

I'm good, busy with the new business venture, miss all you assholes from Arkansas and Rick too! LOL

Frankly I'd rather see no iffy big money contracts from the Yankees this winter.

Okay, thanks - I guess that saves me a lot of time.
Now I'll occasionally tune in just to see the progress of any new additions/youngsters (if any).

    lol

You mean Rick didn't tell ya' he just bought a floating Home, and parked it right in the thick of the Ozarks? Rick's been taking up Banjo Lessons, and teaches Ancient History to toothless bald kids down in dem swamps.... a subject he's well adept at, since he is the last remaining survivor of those masons, who built the Pyramids, and Sphinx too....

I agree, I'd hate to see Panda Fat Gut, or Hanley-"My Head's Not In The Game"-Ramirez. I despise Ramirez as much as anyone can. This yr alone, Hanley forgot to cover 2nd to turn 2, while he was literally looking in the stands. OR- "I'm not running out this strike 3 passed ball, I'm going back to the dugout instead, to have some Kool-Aid, and fk around.

I pay 8$ for a Dodger Dog, and Hanley can't even run out a passed ball.......WTF?

What I'd give to see Tulo in NY pinstripes....!!!

Just wondering - if Redsox sign Hanley AND Fat Boy,
...what do they do with X. Bogaerts ?
During the 2013 season and post season he was praised as the second coming but has been very pedestrian since.

Maybe a case of the Redsox farm system being just a tad overrated?

Honestly of all Southern States, or all states, Georgia was one of the nicest scenic places I lived and worked in for 1 year. Just about 10 minutes north of where 59 Lives. Food Home Cooking, and BBQ is out of this effing world. All produce, from veggies to fruits, are better than about anywhere I have been, including the San Joaquin Valley....Lots of wildlife and pines too....plenty of Bass Fishing Holes, about 10 of them in a 10 mile radius, and about as many Golf Courses in the same area.

BTW= I do hope the Bosox get Hanley along with Fat Boy Panda Gut.....

The combo of the 2, esp: HR, will be the demise of a supposed refurbished team....and probably the Sox will trade away young talented kids.
These Sox moves, should actually help any other AL East Team, esp-the Yanx.

The Sox brass thinks they're putting together a solid Team, while in all honesty their building a Team, that will be up one day, and down for a week or 2.....I do in fact believe, whoever goes to BeanTown, will help lead the Sox to their worst nightmare, spend millions, and only get shit in return.........that's my Opinion, and I'm sticking to it.

Honestly I'm hoping Sandoval stays with the Giants & that he can regain his 2009 form. Or even the numbers he put up in 2011 in less then 120 games.

So true. Aside from the 75 mil using up payroll space....the lack of production for the dollar is horrendous, or laughable, depending on how you want to look at it.

Here's what the Yankees have gotten from those three players over the last three years. (2012-2014)

    Arod/Tex combined:
    427 G
    1563 AB
    74 HR
    234 RBI

    .243 BA
    .332 OBP
    .429 SLG%
    .761 OPS

    CC - W 32 23 L, 4.21 ERA, 4 CG, 0 SH-O, 1.28 WHIP

I don't think there's anything funny about players getting injured and requiring surgery- but from a bottom dollar/production aspect- Yanks are eating the big one.
