On the road, the sharp passing and offensive flow usually is much harder. Having low post players, that can slow a team down with efficient post scoring is essential. This is why Aldridge is having monster games on the road. Our flow is tighter, so Stotts is relying on Kaman and Aldridge to give us a type of ISO score. Once we force teams to double on our bigs, then kick that out and give our shooters wide open looks.

This is why Dame has a tougher time on the road. They are taking that perimeter game and forcing other players to make the play. I think Stotts should go inside like crazy with Aldridge and Kaman for most the 1st half to get the tone going, then Lillard-time them in the second half.

Comfort and 6th man pumps up the players. Also they are usually more rested when they can wake up in their own bed.

On the road, the other teams fans push their players to play more inspired as well.

They can give you rim protection, second chance points and rebounds, block shots, shoot at a high percentage clip, make freethrows, bitch slap young guys on the bench. Kaman also gives a pretty good interview.

I think the real difference is 3FG% goes down on the road. I think it's a combination of factors. Tired, jet lagged legs from traveling and playing 3 games in 4 nights, plus a different court, no home fans to provide extra energy, etc. We only made 7 3-pointers in each of the last two games (compared to more than 10 a game at home), but still managed to grind out two wins thanks to more low post scoring. That's where Aldridge and Kaman come in handy. Those guys can generate offense when the outside shots aren't falling.
