Lawler's victory at UFC 181 was in his 14th fight as a UFC fighter. No other fighter has gone so long in the UFC before winning a title. Lawler debuted in 2002.

Lawler is someone to root for IMO. Happy he won. Not the most exciting fight but I am looking forward to his first title defense.

The way Robbie stopped attacking in the second and third rounds was a bit perplexing. Hendricks was throwing good combos but I don't know why Lawler froze up. I thought maybe he had broken his hand.

He almost seemed a bit dejected or perplexed at how the fight was going. Like his game plan wasn't working and he was unsure of what to do next.

Then he just seemed to bear down and try and win.

I do want to go back and watch the fight again though. I thought it was pretty close.

Still haven't been able to watch the fight, happy Lawler won. I was pulling for Hendricks but love watching Robbie, too.

I think we will see a 3rd match.
