With WBO super bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux (14-0, 9 KOs) unable to get any of the big names at super bantamweight to face him, he’ll instead be taking a stay busy fight against Japan’s Hisashi Amagasa (28-4-2, 19 KOs) in less than two weeks from now on December 31st at the Bodymaker Colosseum, Osaka, in Osaka, Japan.

It’s a simple money fight for Rigondeaux. He’ll be traveling to Amagasa’s home country, even though Rigondeaux is the champion, to face a guy who has done very little during his career.
