Don't worry Rick, if Alex let's you down, Cash can sign Drew to DH.

Honestly I'm hoping A-Rod doesn't even make it out of ST.

Indeed, I hope he doesn't make it out of His Limo to Tampa...

If he does, hope he doesn't make it out of the Clubhouse....

If he does hope he doesn't make it out of the Dugout....

If He does, hope the Fans Dog-pile Him, until he smothers to death....

But the Team should Dog-pile him IN the Clubhouse....!

...more posturing, and more grammatical gymnastics...nowhere is Cashman quoted as saying "ARod will be the full time DH".

They decided against prosecuting Arod because I would imagine MLB told them don't you dare. Put Arod on trial and depositions take place which I doubt MLB would want any part of.

Hmmmm.....the feds saw all that evidence. Besides ARod would have used any ace to avoid suspension. MLB doesn't have much pull with the feds....its the other way around.

because the players have more juice on bud. dig deep and mlb is like the mafia. it is what it is. just like the nfl cracking down this year. bonds, sammy and mark made big bucks for em. just like favre, say ray lewis and the rest of the cock pics and murders did back in the day.

...money will not be the deciding factor...if ARod is on the roster it will be because he surprised everyone by actually playing well.

He's owed a fortune so unless he physically can't perform he will be here. The idea that anyone thinks he's getting cut even if he has a poor spring is silly.

...the "physically unable to play" has been covered already by a few people. And if he's physically unable to play, he will be let go...and the Yanx will recoup some of his salary via the insurance policy.

My thoughts are he will have a 2015 and hit some homers. Honestly, going into this season the Yankees have bigger issues and frankly it starts with our idiot pig headed first baseman.

...mess, I don't think he can hit MLB pitching anymore. Hell, even before he was suspended he had become a strike out machine and could no longer catch up with the inside FB and could not lay off the outside breaking ball.

...it will have been nearly 2 years before he faces in game pitching again. And hitting balls in a batting cage won't make him ready again...if he is somehow able to get his timing back, it will take quite awhile. Couple that with his polarizing personality and the distractive circus that now follows him wherever he goes, and I gotta believe, or I hope, the Yanx brain trust will decide it's just not worth it.

...looking forward to ARod's presser where he announces his retirement.

I'm not saying he's going to be great but if he's truly just going to be a DH he will still hit some mistakes out of the ballpark. As I mentioned a guy like Tex is a bigger problem. He hit .216 last year and I think even Arod will do better than this goof. I think one difference between Arod and Tex is that Arod got caught big time with the PEDs. Tex is just as much a broken down player.

...and I think Tex will do better than .216 this year...and at least Tex can still help the defense with his glove at 1B...ARod would be occupying a roster spot by being a mediocre part time DH...a la Soriano (.198 as a DH last year)
