________________________ Nope - I don't/can't expect anyone EXCEPT the photographer or someone who saw and read the caption to know. here's a couple of clues ----> It's not this country- AND it's very sad and a weird contrast to the situation "today" in that country.
I've seen that picture in many briefings. It is sad what the change is. Without giving it away, it's about the time that Eisenhower visited there.
Okay a recording studio / record store in Cuba selling old Ricky Ricardo albums. And until I'm told otherwise....THAT'S! what it is.
Not trying to be funny Vic but unless this is like one of those "Where's Waldo" photo's, I see a picture of two women looking at record albums, why is that unbelievable?
There's been little to no, Freedom of Speech, and Music (esp, Today) is more a medium for expression, than the News. Very rare pic, as much you recall the article I believe I posted out of ESPN Magazine around ST, with Castro's nephew who is the Ambassador of Cuba Baseball Operations. earlier this year, Fidle Castro's Brother who took over when Fidel died, put his Son in charge of this Govt. Office.
The 1st thing that made the papers in March of 014, prior to this political act, was: Cuba eliminated their own Law, which stated, if any athlete Defects from Cuba, they had to renounce their Cuban Citizenship status. This law has been in place The USA has not changed this law, which puts the onus on the USA. Now only US law states any Cuban Defector MUST denounce their Cuban citizenship. What's wrong with this picture? The Cuban Govt. made this law in Nov. of 2013.....! Castro the BB Ambassador, noted, how Cuban Athletes can now come home, be with their families, and unlike most greedy MLB athletes, a strong majority of Cuban MLB players, invest their monies, into their small villages, for better schools, hospitals, et al, in their native lands. Unlike Greed American Commodity Players, Cuban Players for the most part, have enough compassion to spend their money in their homeland to better all.....! A great ESPN Mag. read if there ever was one...
So I was right all along (see post #12) Its two women looking at records in a record store. Only in Afghanistan. So as blg stated I wasn't WAAAAAAAY off.
Knew it had to be some country fucked up by communism. Ricks guess of Crazy Eddie's or Tower Records in NY may actually end up being correct the way Bloomberg, De Blasio and Cuomo are killing the great state if NY.
