Tony Parker has played like shit this season. I know... he's on my fantasy team.

Mike Conley? Come on... I get that they're winning, but give me a break.

The things is, to me at least, there isn't much to debate. I think a lot of the PGs are "tied" (if you will) for top 5. It is really nit-picking to pick some over others.

I will say that there is no way Parker is #1 though.

There's simply no way you can put Derrick Rose in the top five with his health problems. No way. No how.

My top five (in no order) would be:

    Paul
    Westbrook
    Lillard
    Curry

And then maybe either Wall or Irving. Parker has no played that well. Rose can't stay in the lineup. Conley is a good player, but not a star.

Listen, if I am doing a top 5 dame is in it easily. With that said it is actually a fairly arbitrary number that we have all just accepted because it has been said forever. If their list went to 6 I can almost guarantee that Dame is on both of them.

So boo hoo that some think he is top 6 vs top 5. Doesn't matter one iota to me and shouldn't to anyone else except dame who is using it as fuel and that is great.

Nate himself listed 6 players who have a shot at his top 5 which is what I am getting at. This is a 6 or 7 PG race for top 5 and if you ask 10 people their order I bet you get at least 8 different responses.

Ha! I hope Dame sees that. :)

Whether the list is right or wrong, that's how Dame rolls (motivates).

I've been an avid NBA fan since the mid 70s. I can't recall a time with more quality point guards in the league. It used to be the thinnest position, now it's one of the deepest.

For sure! I think to Blazers fans it still feels "thin" because we went so long without a quality PG. But they are literally (okay, not literally) growing on trees and can be had for a dime a dozen.

Hmmmm, the early 90's had some damn good ones all at once.

Strickland, Kenny Johnson, Stockton, Magic Johnson, I can't remember the dude in Sac which was part of Run DMC, Isaiah Thomas, Mark Price, Scott Skiles. I know I'm forgetting some too

Conley's shooting 45% from 3. The guy who should also be really pissed is Kyle Lowry who may start as an All Star this year. Add Teague to list of top PGs too.
