Sorry to hear of your loss. My mom is battling right now also. Gotta believe she is in a better place. I just think of all these kids that were killed in these pointless school shootings that never had a chance to grow up and I'm thankful for the time my family and I have had here. Keeps me going.

I still remember being in school that day when I looked on the internet at lunch. Told the rest of the school 20 something 1st grade and kindergarten students were shot in CT. Still makes me sick to this day. That's when I official lost faith in this world. I figure when people start doing crap like that, there has to be a better place we all go to.

Sorry to hear about that mel...just awful...that disease is awful. Took my mom 3 years ago 3 days before Thanksgiving, so this is a tough time of year for me also. Terrible news...I really feel for you. Stay strong for your family during this tough time.

So very sorry Mel. There's nothing we can say that will ease the pain. Just time and the thoughts that she's no longer suffering. Remember the good times and the thought that things will get better. Hang in there Dump and everyone else for that matter. The world is a rough and senseless place right now.

I'm so sorry to hear that Mel. Cancer is an awful, awful thing but at least she is now at peace. Stay strong man, and be thankful for the time you two shared together.

You too dump, hang in there.

Unfortunately, cancer is becoming far too common. It's actually going to overtake heart disease as the number one killer. There are none of us who don't have this disease hitting close to us.

Thanks guys for all your kind words. Dump, sorry to hear about your mom. I got 32 wonderful years with my wife before she left me. Lots of good memories but at 60 years old was way too young and was hoping for another 20.

Everybody seems to know somebody battling. I'm tutoring a child with leukemia. Got to have faith. Like you must have faith that Hayes will not continue to suck on faceoffs his entire career if he's a center like Stepan. Or Boyle will re-discover what the word assist means.

Hoping you and your family find peace in all of this. It's never easy losing a loved one and written words do little but they can help.
Cherish the good times but, remember the bad too. They may seem more trivial now but, it can give you some perspective on the things you two could work through and remind you of how much she meant to you. Try to find a way to make her proud of you every day and she'll stay with you the rest of your life.

very sorry to hear about your losses, in this thing we call life sometimes we take things for granted and dpn't appreciate every little aspect, nothing is promised in life, make sure to live life to fullest and love everybody around you as much as possible because it won't last forever,

it will be tough mel but you can get through it, hopefully the rangers can take your mind off of it for little while from time to time. God bless
