$6M for a man who was not only in the middle of the steroid storm but embraced it when he credited both McGwire & Sosa for bringing back the game after there 1998 HR chase. Yeah.....he didn't know. After all.............................................."Chicks dig the long ball".

The museum where he will be immortalized is just crazy as well. Think there's much of an ego there?

He's 80....gonna cost the league $30-60M to avoid a tell all memoir. Think of it as hush money because we now live in a world that lacks the sack to knock old fuckers off.....ah the good ole days.

6 Mil a year, for what, he sure hasn't done anything to warrant that big a pension. Put him up in Hell's Kitchen in Beantown, give him a project apartment, rent paid for life. A food allowance of 30 bucks day, taxi fees, and subway/train fees, 50 bucks a month.....nothing else no cable or TV.....the fkr is already richer than shit, what did he do in his career to qualify for anything less than Medicare?
