    PER36: 17 PPG | 7.8 RPG | 3.0 BPG | 75 FG%

    PER: 26.1 (previous three seasons: 23.5 | 21 | 21.6) | DRtg: 98

Rumors are already circulating that Ainge will flip Wright before the deadline.

Do you call Ainge and offer him a minimally protected 2015 pick with Leonard and/or Robinson for a player who could bolt this summer? He's basically a poor-man's Anthony Davis and would be a huge upgrade to our bench.

If he's so good, why does Ainge want to immediately 'flip' him?

If he does, probably Ainge had the next deal set up before the Rondo trade?

Wright has been in the league 7 years, and has never averaged over 20 minutes or 10 points per game? And people wanted to give up on Meyers Leonard his first season?

Yeah. You probably start by offering one of them straight up.

no. classic case of overhype being the 'biggest' name being traded for the best player. he'll be in the dleague in 2 years.

Wright is better than Leonard and TRob 'now', but not in two years. Ainge is looking down the road. Are we?

If we're in win now, or win soon, mode Wright would be a great pickup. He would provide rim protection off the bench and efficient scoring. He would give us added depth and insurance against injury in our front court. There are reasons he's never been a starter - he lacks the bulk and strength to muscle and body up against starting centers and power forwards. He's also a rather weak rebounder - again, gets pushed around too easily. That said, he matches up favorably against most other backup big men. He's better today and much more consistent than TRob or Leonard.

He's also very low risk as he's an expiring deal. So, that preserves Olshey's summer of 2015 cap flexibility plan.

Problem is, why would Boston move him when they could just let him walk at the end of the season and continue their rebuilding program/youth movement? We'd need to offer something that fits those goals. Would they be willing to take a chance on Meyers Leonard, give him a ton of PT for the remainder of the season and see what happens? It would be low risk, since they will be tanking anyway, but I'm not sure it would be enough. They'd probably want something else to sweeten the pot, likely a future draft pick. We could also include Barton and/or Claver, but I'm not sure if that meets the definition of sweetening the pot.

I bet Ainge would love to get C.J., but would Olshey be willing to give him up? He's the kind of young player with upside that fit Ainge's plans.

TRob doesn't really give them what they need. Regardless what you think of him as a player, they would not get his Bird Rights. So, if they did like him, there's no guarantee he'd re-sign with them. When you're rebuilding, a half season rental doesn't really make sense. If you give the guy serious PT and end up seeing some promise, you want to make sure you have the ability to re-sign him.

I'd offer them anything outside of our top 8 players for Wright, in whatever combination they want. I'd also offer them a top 20 protected future first round pick if that's what it would take. Anything below 20 is a crap shoot, and if we see someone we like, Paul can always buy someone else's late first round pick to get them.

I would do two separate deals with Boston. One for wright and one for Greene and Bradley. Send them CJ, Robinson, Batum and any filler necessary.

    Dame/Blake
    Wes/Bradley
    Greene/crabbe
    Aldridge/wright
    Rolo/Kaman

That's a really good ten man rotation.

Shit, give me Jeff, Gerald, or Danny... I'd take ANY of the Green's for our team (or my vaporizer, for that matter)!

I'd take him. Do a big trade.. CJ, Wright, Freeland and Leonard for Green, Wright and Pressey. Then call Mr. Ray Allen.

    Lillard / Blake / Pressey
    Matthews / Allen / Crabbe / Barton
    Batum / Green / Crabbe
    Aldridge / Wright / Robinson
    Lopez / Kaman / Robinson
