If not going to the all star game motivates him to play better, as Rice and Barrett say, why should we vote for him?
So that players see they can play here and be rewarded on a national level? Because small market global recognition is the next step to the lakers being horrible for the next 50 years?
I'm not really sure why being in the top 5 is that important. They all are really close. With that said he made a great case for himself this eve. The prob with D is he doesn't have the flash many other points have. That was Roy's problem at the two. Winning and winning big will cure the ranking prob. Not that there is one.
I remember Neil saying, when we drafted him, that Lillard had the chance to be like Chauncey Billups. I don't remember Billups dunking like that.
I don't remember that either. Still a great comparison. There wasn't anything too exciting about Chauncey.
Don't know. The figures are going to be over the top this year with all the different methods. There's some dude who seems to stay up all night and day voting for Gortat, lol.
I've been wondering if they are even going to. Voting ends in 30-31 days and has only been open for 7-8. If they do release current standings I'd think it would be in 2 weeks from Monday.
Games like this go a long way in getting a guy voted in. They've got him on Sportscenter right now. The guy is, in my opinion, one of the top four point guards in the league. Westbrook Paul Curry Dame Those are the top four and I'm not even sure what the order is. How ridiculous is it that all four are in the west?
Not to mention Conley and Rondo. I think there's an outside chance Chris Paul doesn't make the All Star team.
No chance. Paul will make it. Conley will not make it. Honestly, I have no idea who will be an All-Star this year. Curry for sure, but Westbrook has missed quite a few games. Kobe will probably get the nod because of his career accomplishments. It would suck if Dame missed it, BUT that would really fire him up so I wouldn't be mad.
http://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/2puv0a/post_game_thread_the_trail_blazers_216_defeat_the/ I love going into these threads on Reddit and reading all the love from the other team's fans.
Conley is shooting 45% from three and leading his team to big wins. Then Monta Ellis has a case as does Klay. Someone has to get left out. Clippers are underachieving. His scoring and assists are down.
