San Antonio Spurs small forward Kawhi Leonard has "something kind of torn" in his right hand, coach Gregg Popovich told reporters before Friday night's game against the Portland Trail Blazers. The Spurs had listed Leonard as having a bruised hand, but multiple reports Friday said the injury was a torn ligament. Leonard told the San Antonio Express-News that it "isn't as bad as it sounds" and he should be back "soon."
