    it may not be Mcdonagh/Gomez, but it's getting close. Kevin Klien for a guy who is probably playing his last games in the NHL at age 24. What a steal

    What the Preds did to the Caps in the Erat/Latta for Forsberg trade was straight out theft. They now have a stud center who can't even drink legally yet. What a deal.

    Kevin Klein with the Preds was notorious for
    coughing up the puck in the defensive zone;
    Trotz, the then Pred coach, saw a chance to get
    youth in MDZ and thus the trade was made.

    You think Klein has something to prove tonight?

    He certainly has been a positive surprise.

    I think Kevin Klein was traded because they had Shea Weber as the top righty guy, had just drafted Seth Jones who they saw as the second righty guy, and figured why pay Kevin Klein to sit on the 3rd pair for the next however many years when they could potentially flip him and get a top 4 left handed guy to go with Josi, Weber and Jones. Unfortunately the gamble for them didnt pay off but the rationale was there.

    I'm happy he's having succes and he has saved us a couple of times already this year, but if he stays on this pace and scores over 20 I'll post a video of myself jumping into the east river wearing nothing but his jersey.
