The Sixers worked him out today. Hes a center from the University of Washington and some mock drafts have him going to us. From what I've heard is he is fundamentally sound, good post moves, and can shoot the ball a little bit. Doesn't sound like a bad fit at all, you think he can play PF, or replace Dalembert? What do you think if we drafted him with our 12th pick?
I think he would do better at power forward for anybody, and a lot of people compare parts of his game to Chris Webber. It doesn't sound like a bad pick, provided he's there and not taken by big-man hungry teams like CHI, SAC, and ATL. Sixers could really use some scoring in the low post to go next to Dalembert, not as a replacement.
I wouldn't mind him, though the sixers shouldn't overlook the other big men in the draft that are available to us.
Hawes can be good, but I don't know I think we should see if we can package picks, and maybe even Sammy move WAY up.
