When Dawk posted that the cover jinx didn't apply to Philly, I thought how interesting. I guess he's right. Never have I seen a team roll over & play dead like today. Oh wait, there was the prior 2 yrs.

I guess Carolina was lucky & good. Props to John Fox who is now 10-3 against Philly.

There has not been two #1 seeds make it to the big one since the 92 season and both home teams have not won the championship game since 96. So, I knew when the Pats won that Philly was screwed.

McNabb should not be made the scapegoat. IMO, Reid is to blame. If anyone can spot substandard coaching in big games, its a Dolphins fan.

Wow, three years in a row. I'm sorry about your luck there DAWK and I hope you make a full recovery from this. I also hope you didn't order that shirt yet. I feel kind of bad for McNABB as he did all that he could do, but if he were to stay in the game any longer he may have never played again the way the PANTHERS were getting to him. Maybe next season you can try again and make it. Good luck and don't give up hope just yet.

lol, i dont think andy reid was out there
catching passes that were wide open and
dropping them footballs. I dont think reid
is the blame for the offensive line not making
blocks for mcnabb. However i would blame the
cheap owner who doesnt wanna spend any
money on any decent wr's for his franchise qb.
Thrash, pinkston what a disgrace, open so many
times and dropped passes. Duce staley the man
they wont re sign, is about the only one playing
out there yesterday. I wonder how many more
nfc championsahip game appearences and losses
does it take for phillys owner to realize, his
wr's arent even good number 2 wr's in the nfl?

After all of the "Eagles are unstoppable" and "Packers suck" talk that Dawk has been spouting off about for the past few weeks, I'm convinced he hung himself or is currently in detox from an all night bender after yesterday's debacle.

Oh well... Maybe the fourth time will be the charm?

Packers should have won. I think they would have beaten the Panthers and I wouldn't have had to deal with the "monkeys".

Pack, ur team was a fraud, they beat bad teams and backed into the playoffs from the cardinals. then u barely beat a seahawks team thats horrific on the road, and they cameinto one of the hardest places to play. that is more luck than the eagles had

Yeah, the Pack got lucky to get into the playoffs, but they were no fluke. They're better than their record this year. They failed to put away the Eagles, Kansas City and the Lions during the regular season when they had all of those games essentially won, so rather than being 13-3, they ended up 10-6. Sometimes that's how the ball bounces.

The Eagles, on the other hand, showed that they're not as good as their 12-4 record. They shouldn't have beaten the Pack in the regular season. They beat the Giants on that fluke kick return. They won squeakers against the Jets, Miami and Washington early in the year.

They could have just as easily been 8-8, but they played with guts and heart and got a few breaks along the way. They're talented, no doubt, but they're no more or less a "fluke" than Green Bay is/was.

I don't want you to think I'm kicking you when you're down. Now you know how we Packers fans feel. You lost a game you feel you should have won. It hurts. Now we can both pull for Carolina since they're underdogs and representing the NFC in the Superbowl.

I'm confident that Andy Reid will have a solid off season for you guys and you'll probably get to the big one next year. If McNabb can stay healthy next year, you'll be set.
