This should be fun: Describe what the worst riot ever would be.I'll start:The Cubs win the World Series in Game 7 against the White Sox.Chicago ceases to exist, not b/c the Cubs win, but b/c they do it over the Sox. You'd have Cubs fans going at it with Sox fans, Sox fans going at it with Cubs fans. Then the police try breaking it up the way they did when Bulls fans were partying when they won their title's in the 90's and you'd have people throwing bottles, smashing cars, lighting fires. Combine all that, plus the fact that Cubs and Sox fans are both among the dumbest baseball fans, and the ingrediants are ripe for an out-of-control riot.

Curt schilling hits Derek Jeter in the face with a pitch in Game 7 of the ALCS, knocking him out of the playoffs. Fans storm the fan (its at Yankee stadium) and schilling is ripped apart piece by piece

Even in 2003, when the Cubs won the DIVISION the day after, about 50 fans were gathered outside in Bridgeport (the neighboorhood where the Whiney Sux play, it's really a dump) burning trash.

guys - besides soccer in Europe/South America, Red Sox-Yankees is the greatest rivalry in the world...it has the most hatred, most history and most drama...put it this way - im a yankees fan and if i got offered a full scholarship to Boston College, i wouldnt take it, because i would get too angry with ignorant, drunk red sox fansANDNY has the best rivalries because it has more teams:hockey:Rangers/DevilsRangers/IslandersIslanders/DevilsBaseball:Yankees red soxYankees metsMets bravesYankees OriolesBasketballKnicks NetsKnicks lakersknicks celticsknicks bullsKnicks pacersFootballGiants JetsGiants EaglesJets BillsJets PatsGiants SkinsGiants cowboys

I wouldnt put Cubs/Cardinals as the second best MLB Rivalry. Its nowheres near the Giants/Dodgers, and I would think that the Yankees/Mets and Cubs/White Sox are better rivalries anyway.
