Now it's public, NK has the Nuke. We've (well, anyone with a brain) has assumed they'd had it since 1999 when the Radioactive cloud was found by satellites off their coast in the Pacific Ocean, but now it's official: A successful test of a Nuke.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>North Korea said Monday it had performed its first nuclear weapons test, an underground explosion that defied international warnings but was hailed by the communist nation as a "great leap forward" for its people.</div>And of course, Bush's White House is saying....<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>"A North Korean nuclear test would constitute a provocative act in defiance of the will of the international commuity and of our call to refrain from actions that would aggravate tensions in Northeast Asia,"</div>

If it does end up being a nuclear war, this war could cause the most civilian casualties of all wars combined.

They won't attack us.They have no reason to attack us really. Plus if they did, they know we could wipe the floor with them.As long as they don't attack anyone without reason or w/e I don't care if they have nukes.

If we nuke NK we'd have China all pissed off at us, and even Bush isn't stupid enough to cause a War with China.

We're a nucular country but I believe that just means we have programs. Plus, they have the largest standing army in the world and can basically pluck anyone they want to serve (China has the same thing almost). If Kim Jong Il had to, he would use every single citizen and crucify every North Korean child in his war effort. We'd still beat them eventually but it's not a country that people should think will be a push-over just cause they're much smaller than we are in terms of land. Remember Japan in WWII? The country was miniscule yet their army was extremely strong and determined to fight til death. North Korea probably takes on the same mindset if they enter a war.The thing is when Kim Jong Il is on his deathbed, either in the near or distant future, I can almost guarantee he will attack the U.S. He has nothing to lose (except for his citizens) if he tries. He'd basically be a lame-duck dictator. Plus if he begins it, there are other idiots in that country that actually believe him so it could be continued by his successor.
